Five Permanent Full-Time roles within the Strategy, Architecture, and Information Services Branch as an Enterprise Architect. This role will be focusing on the health system and will be responsible for leading, developing, maintaining and implementing Enterprise Technology Architecture.
The role
Be one of the Department's Enterprise Architects developing, contributing to the review of architectural strategies, mandated principles and roadmaps that will meet the strategic requirements of the health systems.
In this role you will develop and manage business and technical stakeholder relationships, including senior management and IM/ICT professionals, facilitate open communication, co-design products across the health system and capture and disseminate information.
Further responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist advice relating to enterprise technology architecture, influencing the broader architecture, ICT planning and any investment activities
- Coordinating and assisting in the promotion, development and acquisition of technology and associated services
- Monitor, identify and assess new and emerging practices, technologies, products, methods and techniques
- Prioritise, organise and implement resource and work schedules to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will contribute to the effective management of the Strategy, Architecture and Information Services Branch by adhering to relevant financial management practices, quality management practices and public administration policies. You will ensure and manage information of Queensland Health in accordance with Departmental Information Security policy and Standards; in order to ensure its confidentiality, availability and integrity.
Ensure that any technology architecture work aligns with Queensland Health's broader enterprise architecture, while supporting changes to the enterprise architecture based on changes in the system's technology architecture.
Develop comprehensive strategy responses, briefs, submissions, presentations, reports and information papers to influence the development of enterprise architecture and related project, ICT planning and investment issues and decisions.
