Great supportive team environment. ABOUT THE ROLE:A fantastic opportunity is now available for an Entry-Level Engineer to join our Project Solutions & Engineering team based at Kewdale. This role will work with our lead Mechanical Engineer and contribute to the design and delivery of our power system projects, including solar hybrid skids, DC critical power, BESS, switch rooms, transformer kiosks, and renewable stand-alone power systems.
The role provides the opportunity to support new solutions, product development and undertake engineering deliverables. Ampcontrol WA produce off-grid innovative power systems for a wide number of applications and clients. Our main areas of focus are in the Mining, Utility and Telco sectors.
ABOUT YOU:Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:Tertiary qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals in designs, and familiarity with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices. Ability to work to financial and budgetary constraints.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and Engineering design software applications. AutoCAD Inventor experience. Well organised with strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
Experience in resolving problems – both technical and people management issues. Self-motivated and passionate about contributing to company growth. Think you know Ampcontrol?
