Entry Level Plastic Recycling Position

Rainbow Plastic has a passion for recycling construction plastic. Our philosophy is to do it, not talk about it! We divert hundreds of tonnes of construction plastic from landfill per year. Our focus is to provide high quality raw materials to manufacturers of recycled plastic products. We are committed to the circular economy in WA and have a strong culture of sustainability in every aspect of our business. Qualifications & experience

• We are looking for a self motivated person who will focus on consistently completing tasks to a high standard.
• The successful candidate must be able to follow processes and procedures to ensure good workflow on the site and the safety of all.
• This is a physical job predominantly outdoors and the successful applicant will need to be physically fit.
• A Forklift ticket and HR licence is advantageous and our ideal team member will be comfortable working with and maintaining machinery.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Receive construction plastic in to our yard
• Sorting and pressure washing plastic for processing.
• Safe operation of all equipment, including daily restart checks.
• Forklift operation including loading and unloading trucks, moving materials in the factory and loading product.
• Operation of our Plastic Recycling processing equipment which includes a bandsaw, plastic shredder and granulator.
• Ensuring production targets are met on a weekly basis.
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
