Our client is looking for a HCER Advisor who will be responsible for the implementation of programs related to Heritage, Community, Environmental, and Rehabilitation management and monitoring. This role is FIFO site-based, located south of Mount Isa, following an 8/6 roster.
However, there is potential for the role to transition to a 5/2 Townsville-based position (with occasional site work) at a later stage.
This position involves a wide range of responsibilities and offers a well-balanced blend of field and office-based tasks. These responsibilities encompass on-site field monitoring programs, including assessments of groundwater, surface water, flora and fauna, manage and monitor compliance with government regulations, approvals as well as cultural heritage considerations. Additionally, the role includes the important tasks of report writing and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
About you:
- You will have a minimum of Certificate IV or Diploma in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or similar)
- Experience with Groundwater quality and quantity monitoring
- Some mine site (or similar industry) experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Based in Townsville, Brisbane or Mount Isa (or willing to relocate).
