About the roleDue to the continued growth of our practice, an exciting entry-level career opportunity has arisen in our Newcastle office for a full-time
Legal Office Junior to join our CTP
Personal Injury insurance team.You will have a varied workload and some of your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to legal secretaries;
- Preparing external mail for posting;
- Collating letters and forms;
- Collating briefs to Counsel;
- General office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing and electronic file sorting; and
- Relief Reception duties.
You will receive one on one training and be mentored by experienced legal secretaries.
About youYou will have:- A desire to work towards a long term career in legal administration;
- The ability to demonstrate initiative;
- Enthusiasm and willingness to work in a team, or on your own;
- Excellent organisation skills;
- Highly developed telephone communication skills; and
- Exceptional attention to detail skills.
Previous office based work experience and/or a TAFE certificate in Business & Administration/ Business & Legal, is highly desirable.The role is suitable to school leavers.
