About the Role
To provide leadership to staff by providing an effective and efficient cleaning and accommodation program to the patients, residents, clients and staff of Grampians Health Stawell.
The Environmental & Accommodation Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of managing the daily operations of the Food Services department while participating in the rotation and coverage of rostered shifts across 7 days.
The Environmental & Accommodation Supervisor will ensure compliance with Grampians Health Stawell in meeting the regulatory standards for cleaning in Victoria Public Hospitals and Aged Care as well as all other legislative and accreditation standards.
Skills and Experience
- Commitment to Grampians Health Stawell values of Collaboration, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Innovation
- Basic Food Handlers Certificate preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in supervision of large number of staff.
- Demonstrated compliance with workplace Regulations, Australian Standards, Infection Control, Workplace Health Safety and Wellbeing, and relevant industry standards, including the handling of infectious waste and cleaning of outbreaks.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage accommodation and cleaning schedules.
- Demonstrated skills in team building.
