Role Overview:
With venues across Australia and NZ, Leisure Accommodation Collective (LACo) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor. With a steadfast commitment to safety and operational excellence, this role requires the successful candidate to be work between two properties, coordinate staff and coordinate contractors. The ideal candidate should possess a keen attention to detail, have a proactive mindset, and be well-versed in safety regulations and asset management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
OH&S Management:
- Occupational Health & Safety protocols and ensure they are in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures and training programs for all maintenance staff.
- Regularly review and update safety documentation and protocols.
- Coordinate with external safety auditors and facilitate OH&S audits.
Asset Management:
- Manage a comprehensive asset management system across both venues.
- Track, analyse, and report on asset performance and life-cycle costs.
- Plan and budget for asset replacements and enhancements.
Maintenance Management:
- Schedule and oversee all maintenance activities across both Melbourne and North Melbourne venues.
- Manage a preventive maintenance program to minimise disruptions and prolong the life of assets.
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs promptly.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
On-Site Presence:
- Maintain a "hands-on" approach to all maintenance-related activities.
- Regularly inspect both Melbourne and North Melbourne venues for any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Build strong relationships with venue staff, promoting a culture of safety and proactive maintenance.
