The role is to working with the Senior Environmental Coordinator to provide environmental management support at site level.
You will be responsible for offering technical and practical support to Project Management Teams and ensuring the effective implementation of environmental legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the environmental subject matter expert for site-level obligations.
- Offer practical solutions to mitigate risk.
- Monitor inspections, incidents, observations.
- Ensure timely reporting and closure.
- Collaborate with Project Managers
- Review and address issues raised in reports.
- Ensure project reports for active projects are accessible for timely integration into Management reports.
- Formal qualifications in Environmental Science/Management.
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Current driver’s license.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of environmental principles related to civil construction and associated services.
- Completion of formal Erosion and Sediment Control (Blue Book) training.
- Practical understanding of Environmental legislation and contemporary Environmental management strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in WHS management practices at the site level (desirable)
- Internal Auditor’s certification (desirable).
- Apply Advanced First Aid Certificate.
- ICAM Lead Investigator (desirable).
- Competent computer skills and experience working with a cloud-based management system.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
