The Opportunity
As a Sustainability Officer at Harvey Beef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. You will be responsible for managing a robust records management system, implementing strategies to address various environmental concerns, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and obligations.

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will oversee the Harvey Beef Environmental license and Sustainability Program.
Sustainability
- Maintain all data keeping records.
- Label Compliance for Retail products (NIP, CoOl, ingredients declaration)
- Plastic Sustainability Programme (APCO and ARL)
- Coordinate data collection for report submissions (yearly APCO report)
- Product Packaging Specifications for Customer portals
- Develop, maintain, and submit reports as required.
- Provide monthly reports to the management team on Environmental and Sustainability compliance.
Environmental
- Maintain all data keeping records.
- Submit data to relevant parties to ensure statutory reports are completed in a timely fashion.
- Conduct field testing and sampling as required.
- Coordinate data collection for report submissions / liaise with subject matter experts for the NGER, NPI, AER.
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications at the Master's level or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Previous Environmental monitoring and Sustainability experience
- Previous experience with the APCO and ARL platforms
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
