The Projects Australia portfolio is largely Offshore Brownfields based scope and typically includes projects such as offshore tie-backs to existing facilities, decommissioning execution and more complex topsides modifications.The Environmental Engineer will be part of the Client engineering team located in Perth, ensuring that the Contractor produces a safe, technically compliant and operable design.Duties & Responsibilities:The Environmental Engineer will typically be involved in the following activities:
- Environmental Impact and Risk Management:
- Spill/discharge/underwater noise modelling
- HAZID/ENVID participation
- ALARP Assessment/Demonstration
- Understanding and mitigating emissions and discharges:
- Preparation/review of Emissions and Discharge Registers
- GHG Emissions forecasting and accounting
- Advising on decarbonisation opportunities
- Incorporating Environment in Design:
- BOD & Engineering Standard application
- Engineering Governance and gate reviews
- Document/deliverable reviews
- Maintaining Regulatory Compliance:
- OTP / TOP engagement
- Compliance data packs for contractors
- Ops Readiness Support
- Regulator Inspections / Regulator queries
- Environment Plan MoC impact assessment
