Environmental Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with a leading consultancy firm dedicated to maximising the potential for wellbeing in properties. A team of environmental consultants who conduct thorough inspections, sampling, and performance-rating of various buildings, to provide valuable insights and recommendations. They are looking for a motivated Scientific Professional to join the team and be involved in all areas of site assessment, management and reporting.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

• Coordinate site visits with clients and tenants
• Conduct thorough assessments prioritising safety and wellbeing.
• Ensure timely sample submission and prepare compliance certificates.
• Manage legislative issues, staying updated on regulations
• Interpret data and provide detailed, compliant assessments.
• Produce scientifically sound reports for non-technical audiences.
• Maintain accurate documentation following procedures.
• Handle all relevant administrative tasks.

YOU WILL BE

• Committed to Occupational Health & Safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical report writing.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and reliable.
• Able to work independently without supervision.

YOU WILL HAVE

• 2 + Years relevant experience
• Relevant Degree/Diploma
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Competency in using instrumentation and testing equipment.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Current drivers license
• Police clearance
• Environmental regulations knowledge (desirable)
• Laboratory skills (desirable)
