About the role:
An opportunity exists for a passionate individual to join our Environment & Health Team. The primary function of this role will be to provide professional & technical services in driving the education and awareness of sound environmental practices and principles in the community and the organisation.
Duties include:
Responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of Environmental Sustainability projects and education programs.
Represent council at community forums, events and other forums [Senior].
Research, prepare, submit and secure grants and external funding for energy & water efficiency projects [Senior].
Participate in regional networks and working groups.
Conduct research to support the development of environmental policy, strategy and actions.
Develop educational and promotional materials and assist education officer in delivering education.
Provide concept and design advice on energy and water saving projects.
Develop and manage website content.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in the development, implementation and review of environmental and natural resource policy/management and projects [2-3 years Senior]
Demonstrated experience in leading Environmental Projects and education programs [2-3 years Senior]
Knowledge of relevant legislation and Policy in relation to environmental sustainability, climate change and sustainable infrastructure management.
Demonstrated communications skills, including presentations and the ability to provide technical support

Senior Environmental Projects Officer - Permanent Full-time, S0835, Salary From: $105K p.a. + Superannuation + Car Allowance
Environmental Projects Officer - Permanent Full-time, Salary From: $88K + Superannuation + Car Allowance
