This Opportunity
As an Environmental Scientist at TasWater you will oversee, monitor and report on environmental policies, strategies and plans, as well as legislative and regulatory requirements, to minimise environmental harm and maximise system performance.
Key Accountabilities
The experience that will help you succeed in this role will be;
- Act as primary regional contact for ongoing technical advice regarding sewerage system environmental compliance
- Liaise with EPA technical specialists
- Manage investigations into environmental incidents and non-compliances
- Provide scientific advice and direction to other divisions and to assist in business case development
- Report on sewerage system performance, trends and compliance to internal and external stakeholders

The Details
This is a permanent full-time position that is based in Launceston and offers hybrid working arrangements and flexibility in working hours so you can do the things that matter to you.
The position attracts a total remuneration package of $93,000 – $103,000 per annum (including superannuation).
