Stantec are seeking talented Environmental Scientist Graduates to join our Environmental and Geosciences team
in WA & QLD.

What does a Graduate Environmental Scientists do in our Environment & Geosciences team do in WA & QLD?
Undertaking environmental field surveys across a range of ecological disciplines
Laboratory analysis or taxonomic work of biological specimens
Approvals and permitting according to environmental legislation
Geotechnical site assessments
Contaminated site investigations
Data interrogation and analysis, and scientific reporting
Communication and engagement with clients and involvement in business development activities
Proposal writing, budgeting, and scheduling of projects

Qualifications
About you:
Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Biology, Science, Coastal Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Resource Management, Ecology, Rehabilitation and Restoration Ecology, Environmental and Town Planning, Mechanical/Acoustic Engineering, Geology/ Engineering Geology, Soil Science, Zoology, Botany, Marine Science.
Passion for learning and problem-solving
Eligible to work in Australia
Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years of experience
Your personal attributes are just as important. Demonstrate your interest in some of the following aspects environmental impact assessments, desktop and site investigations, field work, ecology and specialist disciplines, approvals, rehabilitation, contaminated land, and geotechnical engineering.
