About the role: As a regional Senior Human Resource Consultant you will have responsibility for the following:
- Develop and maintain effective, collaborative partnerships with a range of partners, including:
- Principals and school leadership teams
- Metro region HR teams including other Senior HR Business Partners, Recruitment team, Organisational Health, Safety and Wellbeing team and Employee Relations team
- HR teams in other regional offices
- Metro regional services team as required
- Provide senior level strategic advice and support to Principals and Leadership teams within the relevant portfolio of schools, on a range of issues including:
- School workforce planning
- Conduct and performance
- Employee complaints, IR and ER issues
- Workplace reforms
- Teacher transfer process
- Injury management referrals
A drivers licence is required for this role as it requires daily/weekly driving between schools and department offices.

- Have the ability to prioritise work and manage time to achieve peak effectiveness
- Possess strongly developed knowledge and application of human resource management policies, processes and systems and continuously review corporate services and functions.
- Ability to provide exceptional leadership and direction when needed to a Senior HR Officer/s that support you and the portfolio of schools that you partner with.
