Responsibilities
- You will bring your extensive knowledge of recruitment and IT knowledge as well as your excellent relationship skills to manage existing client relationships for the recruitment of contract and permanent staff; and
- Providing top quality recruitment solutions to IT clients and candidates.
It is expected that your role will evolve, and we will work with you to expand and grow in your capabilities, as such you will work closely with your leader through the use of our Pathway Planner. The Planner is Talent Streets internal performance and growth tool. As a high performing Account Manager, you will deliver in a diligent and professional manner the below tasks and duties:
- Supporting the end to end ICT Recruitment life cycle by providing our internal delivery consultants information pertaining to the client and the specific roles they are looking to hire;
- Business development activities including client mapping and building long term relationships;
- Daily phone conversations and face to face meetings with existing clients and prospects;
- Providing market knowledge and advice to clients;
- Offering deep insights to your existing clients regarding the acquisition of talent;
- Organising and attending regular client development events/meetings etc;
- Maintaining market and commercial awareness through research and networking;
- Client and candidate management;
- Qualifying client requirements to enable identification of suitable candidates;
- Support in sourcing, screening and presenting suitably skilled candidates to client requirements;
- Managing clients and candidates through the selection process;
- Undertaking negotiations on terms and conditions of employment, and examining and resolving disputes and grievances;
- Facilitating candidate placements with the Delivery Consultant;
- Providing post placement support to candidates and clients;
- Managing budgets/placement targets to ensure achievement of weekly, monthly & quarterly individual/team targets;
- Maintain the Talent Street recruitment system and data integrity in an efficient and timely manner ensuring all relevant information is entered into the system.
- Previous experience in a Consultant / Account Manager or BD Sales role would be an advantage.
- Previous experience within a recruitment agency would be a plus.
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working within a Tech recruitment role.
- Natural ability to connect with people, be confident on the phone and with face to face interactions.
- Prior working knowledge of State based Government entities is a distinct advantage
- Proven ability to deal with confidential information with discretion
- A can do attitude and the ability to roll up their sleeves when required
