Form of workWe are seeking a skilled draftsman with a passion for precision and high attention to detail. Applicants, must be competent in Autodesk Revit and have minimum 2-5 years experience and be able to show proficiency in all types of residential projects, including but not limited to dwellings, extension, subdivisions, and multi-unit developments. Commercial and Industrial experience is wanted, but not entirely required for this Expression of Interest. Applications must have a comprehensive understanding of the Building Process, National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Local Planning Schemes. The firm is located in Bendigo, VIC and is seeking expression of interests for a Part-time Drafting position for a fixed term of approximately six months. Key Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma of Building Design, Architecture or equivalent.
- Proficiency in relevant drafting software and tools, must have experience and a good foundation in the use of Revit.
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings based on architectural concepts and specifications.
- Exceptional organisational skills and excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Manage a high workload while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
