Summary:
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from highly skilled Technical Project Managers to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of technical projects across our Client's program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all technical requirements. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals are aligned with program objectives.
Ideally you will have delivered projects within Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) and/or with exposure to projects that included requirements definition and the acquisition process, including the management of procurement and hand over processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are aligned with program objectives
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Ensure that project deliverables meet technical requirements
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Ensure that project documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in technical project management
- Strong understanding of Defence project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- PMP certification is a plus
