The Role
As one of Australia's leading national mechanical service providers, Airmaster continues to grow. As a result of this growth, we are now seeking to appoint a new Project Manager to ensure we continue to provide excellent service to our strong customer base as well build on future external opportunities.
The successful applicant will already have the experience to carry out project management of large and small installation projects sourced both internally and externally. This role will be coordinating materials, sub-contractors and employees to suit timelines in ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget and as well as ensuring compliance works with the tender specification, industry best practice, Australian Standards, BCA and local codes.
Key Competencies:
- Provide detailed quotations to our vast client list ranging from fully engineered designs by others to D and C projects by designed by Airmaster, including procurement and delivery of projects
- Project management of various installation projects sourced both internally and externally
- Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently
- Day to day management of various projects to the value of $3million
- Financial and labour resource control
- Ability to work to standard Airmaster procedures
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Minimum 10 years industry experience preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in an allied trade
- A current valid drivers' licence
- Be willing to undergo a national police background check
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
This role will be pivotal in continuing the growth and success of the NSW business as our Project Managers are crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction as well as working to obtain new customers. The successful applicant will possess the right technical abilities, leadership experience as well as the interpersonal skills to create a strong relationship, adding value to the client and their assets and managing contract requirements to ensure everything is delivered as specified.
