The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will provide direct supervision of the activities of Tradespersons / Technicians (including Contractors) and ancillary personnel, within the light vehicle workshop. This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex-Perth).
About the Role

- Display and uphold a safety-first culture, while constantly looking for ways to improve ESG
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with senior leadership
- Manage all registered plant activities including (Registered & Itinerant)
- Manage personnel movement, ensuring constant on-site coverage requirements are met
- Managing maintenance daily/weekly work plan, including break-in tasks
- Ensure the workshop team is 100% compliant with all statutory training requirements
- Facilitate a constant improvement culture in your department
- Utilisation of Pronto as the primary maintenance management system, operating through the work request and work order process
- Work closely with short and long-term planners to ensure weekly and shutdown plans meet required objectives
- Ordering adequate spares, materials and consumables, while embracing the ANSI system
- Ensure both personal and the maintenance department’s KPI’s are achieved by actively leading your team
- Be cost conscious and contribute to achieving the maintenance department’s cost budget.
About You
- Trade Certificate - Mechanical, Maintenance or similar
- Demonstrated experience in a similar supervisory role, in a workshop mining environment
- Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite, with highly competent report writing skills
- Experienced user of Pronto or a similar ERP
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Task prioritisation, time management for self and subordinates
- Current manual driver’s licence.
