This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile: We are seeking experienced and motivated people to join our team in the Epidemiology department.

As an Epidemiologist, you will undertake and/or provide professional leadership in the review, development and delivery of epidemiological data, analysis and research used by internal/external customers and stakeholders to support strategic health policy and planning decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert advice within and external to the Department on a range of Epidemiological data, methodologies and analyses.
  • Manage and undertake complex epidemiological projects, including the preparation, analysis and presentation of survey data.
  • Oversee the production of health data, analysis and research prepared by the team ensuring the delivery of quality and timely reports and information.
  • Provide input to the development and implementation of directorate policies, processes and procedures.
  • Develop, manage and maintain productive relationships and collaborations with a range of stakeholders within and external to the Department.
