Equipment Sales Specialist - Community

Aidacare is a leading supplier of equipment to the Community, Aged-Care and Disability sectors.

We are seeking a professional full-time Equipment Sales Specialist to work with clients to advise and select appropriate equipment.

The territory covers Cairns and Surrounding areas.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Sales of assistive equipment to our community/in-home clients. 
• Equipment trials and demonstrations. 
• Supporting therapists within the community sector with healthcare equipment needs and requirements. 
• Product support and promotion of Aidacare's core product range.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support to all customers.

The successful applicant for this role will:

• Have a background in a relevant field and be very comfortable with ‘selling and sales’, preferably with a proven background in sales.
• Have strong communication skills and inter-personal skills.
• Have an outgoing personality that is interested and easy with people at all levels – a good listener and solutions provider.
• Preferably you have knowledge of the Aged Care & Disability equipment sector but it is not essential.
• You may be in another industry in Sales, or in a role where you feel your skills would be of value and you’re keen to learn.
• You are able & willing to go beyond expectations to get the job done.
• Be an organised and determined self-starter who will work to achieve results independently.
• Have competent computer skills to a level appropriate for the role.
• Be able to work autonomously and be reliable with your commitments to customers.
• Capable of physically handling demonstration equipment in and out of your van for ‘show & tell’ sessions. 
• You should be a resident in or close-to the geographic area of the described territory.
