This focus of this role is the coordination of BTP's Equipment Rebuilds and Equipment Workshop.Supporting the operations team your responsibility is to ensure All SOW, Estimates and projects are in place prior to operations commencing any machine repair or rebuilds. The successful applicant will have experience with tracking project financials, vendor management of WIP and collection/analyse of data to produce accurate costs reports associated with projects to create proforma invoices.BTP has a focused, aligned, and motivated leadership team and is one of Australia's largest suppliers of new and used parts and equipment for hire and sale. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager of Western Australia.Key Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely Quoting/Estimating for internal and external customers.
- Develop and maintaining accurate schedules, work scopes and costings.
- Produce customer off hire and back charge reports.
- Liaise with Supervisors and managers reviewing upcoming planned work, detailed SOW, and costings.
- Measure actual vs target project costs, adjust future standard hours, and identify inefficiencies.
- Establish and communicate target costs for projects. Identify areas for improvement.
- Produce accurate and timely final costing reports for clients.
- Project and Work Order Management
- Produce the most cost-effective business model and way to delivery cost effective services.
- Continually review both Safety and Operational process for refinement and improvements.
- Trade or Tertiary qualification or experience and industry exposure in the maintenance of heavy mobile machinery and related components
- Able to read and interpret drawings/plans and specifications.
- Sound experience in estimating and planning.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, excel and pronto.
- Demonstrated capability in responding to RFQ's, RFI's.
- Able to collate and interpret multiple sources of information to perform analysis. Build a Scopes of Work and repair estimates.
- Hard working, self- motivated with excellent verbal, written communication, and time management skills.
