Ernabella Aṉangu School is located in the beautiful central Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands community of Pukatja. We are the biggest school and community on the APY Lands, home to the world-famous Ernabella Art Centre. We are looking for passionate, committed primary teachers to join our team working in this wonderful Aṉangu community.
Educators work in teaching teams comprising of Teachers, Aṉangu Educators and SSOs to deliver Australian Curriculum and contextual/cultural learning to students. The school supports a 2-way, culturally focussed approach to teaching and learning. The successful applicants will teach years R-2, and years 4/5 respectively, working with LGU support. A comprehensive knowledge of effective approaches to engagement and retention within culturally responsive and trauma informed frameworks is beneficial to the position.
On your weekends, head to Uluru-Kata Juta National Park to experience the incredible landscape, art and history, explore the Ernabella Art Centre, or hang out with our Aṉangu leaders on country.

- Require a willingness to take on new learning and pedagogies to suit a wide range of learners is essential.
