About the role As an ESI Technical Trainer at TasNetworks, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating our technical training competencies through both nationally accredited and enterprise specific training programs, ensuring our employees are equipped with the essential knowledge and skills required to maintain and operate our electrical infrastructure efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include design and facilitation of training programs within our Mornington training centre (including theory and hands on/practical training exercises), support and mentor learners instilling a positive safety culture and contribute your technical expertise and knowledge to the broader team. About you Using your effective communication and influencing skills you will also have: -A demonstrated working knowledge of National Training packages (or the ability to acquire), specifically the Transmission, Distribution and Rail Sector training package and TasNetworks RTO requirements -A minimum of 5 years practical experience in the ESI environment -TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent -Qualified Distribution Lineworker and/or Electrician qualification (with Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence) -Current driver's licence - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in using learning management systems and other training software - A commitment to promoting a culture of safety What's on offer This is a full time permanent opportunity.
