Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Building Compliance Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Essential Safety Measures department, you will be responsible for conducting fire safety audits and Building Compliance assessments. Reporting to the Team Manager, and supported by a team of experts, your role will involve the following:
Responsibilities:
- Conducting essential fire safety measures audits, facilitating systems interface tests
- Servicing clients with diverse property portfolios, including commercial, retail, warehouse, and industrial facilities
- Managing and delivering assigned projects within defined project objectives, timeframes, budgets, and quality assurance standards
- Acting as a subject matter expert and maintaining regular communication with key internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate technical information
- Contributing to business growth by developing proactive client relationships and effectively managing projects
Qualifications:
- FPAS Fire Safety Assessment accreditation or willingness to undergo training for this accreditation
- Building Surveying Diploma & Degree
Skills and Attributes:
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of BCA Codes
- Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team focus with the ability to work independently
- High energy and confidence to work at a fast pace and meet strict deadlines
- Prior experience in building auditing for the fire safety systems
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass national police and working with children checks
- Working understanding of NCC/BCA, AS 1851, and EP&A Regulations
- Excellent computer skills
- Current/Valid VIC Driver's License
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
