Understanding the customers specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems
Walk the plant (inspect the plant) to identify opportunities to improve performance, safety and efficiency
Promote Spirax Sarco's product range to a new and existing client base both from within the assigned territory using CRM, ERP and other tools, skills and training
Manage quotes for Spirax Sarco products, services and solutions
Work with the service team members to fully support customer steam plants
Seek out new and maintain existing customers and actively use CRM as an area management tool
Learn about Spirax Sarco Sustainability Solutions to assist our customers to meet their energy efficiency goalsSkills and experience
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields
- Minimum 2 - 3 years post-qualification experience
- Experience in "solution selling" and process engineering on manufacturing site is highly desirable
- Background as a maintenance fitter or service technician for industrial products will be highly regarded
- Strong passion for sustainability and energy efficiency is required
- B2B industrial/Technical Sales or marketing is preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, is essential
- Experience in using CRM and ERP is essential
- Intermediate written and spoken English skills with a willingness to develop into a skilled presenter
- Must hold and maintain a current civil driver's license
- Familiarity with QA and WHS compliance is expected
