My client is a progressive and innovative residential builder with a strong presence in WA. Building a diverse range of designer homes to quality bespoke client homes, they are continually growing to deliver a professional service to customers and produce quality homes, which requires a well-versed team backing their products.
They are currently on the hunt for an Estimating Manager to join their team.

The main focus of this role will be to provide solid management and mentorship for your team to keep jobs moving smoothly.
The other role responsibilities include:
- Complete housing cost breakdowns for new home designs (rates and quantities);
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of company specifications;
- Source trade and supplier quotes as needed;
- Assist Home Designers design to a budget;
- Provide proactive suggestions with cost and quality improvements;
- Be able to advise on budget issues; and
- Any ad hoc pricing for upgrades.
To be successful for this role, you must have the following:
- At least 3 years experience in a Senior or Management role within the Residential building industry required;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills are a must;
- Ability to manage a team and continue to meet targets;
- Ability to problem solve when required;
- Experience in using a range of computer systems
