Form of workA Family owned Tiling Company based in Port Adelaide SA, is currently seeking for an experienced and suitably qualified Estimator/Site Supervisor for our commercial and residential tiling projects. The applicant MUST have a strong focus on customer service, strong communication skills and excellent eye for detail.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation and administration of project estimates and tenders ensuring accuracy and timeliness of completion.
- Full take-offs, quotes for projects and preparing Bill of Quantities
- Assist with management of project progress, responding to client enquiries and Site enquiries.
- Assist with material control and material ordering, and flexible with physical tasks as well
- Manage on-site OHS documentation, carry out site inductions and abide by HS&W Act & Building Code.
- Co-ordinate, supervise, manage and integrate the work of consultants, tradespersons and contractors.
- Respond to queries from suppliers / subcontractors in conjunction with the Project Manager.
Skills & requirements
- Ideally 1+ years’ experience either in the estimating, contract administration and Site supervision, but not necessary
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction or above
- Willingness to learn and work autonomously
- Excellent skills of using MS excel and take-off software like Plan-swift, Buildsoft etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent understanding of working drawings, details.
- Punctual, reliable and dependable
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Current SA Driver License
- White Card (Must have)
- Valid Working Visa (Must have)
