AddressEstimator - Glass and Aluminium (Melbourne-based)
Mercury Industry Pty Ltd. is a Melbourne based company providing aluminium glazed window and door solution and curtain wall system in commercial building industry. We have more than 18 years' successful experience in Victoria, and keep growing up.
Now we would like to appoint an additional Estimator to join our exciting team in Melbourne.
Estimator applicants will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications across a relevant construction or mechanical discipline, or similar experience
- Mandarin reading and speaking;
- A professional, customer-focused approach and strong attention to details;
- Ability to plan, manage and deliver numerous projects.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, effective negotiation skills and decision-making abilities;
- AutoCAD skills;
- Must be proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, as well as e-mail and Internet searches;
- Ability to speak and/or read Mandarin;
- You must be an Australian resident;
- A current valid drivers license;
- A current valid industry white card;
- Good attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
The role will include:
- Estimator work of medium to large scale projects within required time and cost parameters;
- Coordinate between builder, installer and supplier;
- Assistant to purchasing materials, managing fabrication schedule and ensuring all finished products meet the client's needs;
- Ability to assistant project manager to manage and align detailed trade schedules and programme;
- Ensure that all OHS requirements are always met on site;
- Being prepared to work on site with site staff if needed.
- General office admin duty
