Estimator / Project Coordinator
The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of industrial dust and fume extraction equipment. Operating out of their premises in Salisbury South, they design, manufacture, install and service a range of dust and fume extraction equipment, with a particular emphasis on providing complete packaged solutions with strong after sales support and servicing.
What’s on Offer:
Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an estimator / project coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team in estimating and preparing quotes for projects, as well as coordinating the delivery and installation of projects.
Your Duties:
In this role, you may be required to undertake any or all of the following tasks:
Preparing quotes from drawings or site visits for ventilation / extraction systems
Following up submitted quotations, reporting on conversions / losses
Liaising with clients on delivery times
Ordering of components
Coordinating projects from commencement through to handover
Maintaining tender register & supporting documentation
Scheduling labour
Working closely with in house design and install team to prepare drawings
Management and implementation of safety documentation (JSA, SWMS etc.)
Attending meetings with suppliers and clients
Developing relationships with key stakeholders
Overseeing variations, RFI’s and approvals
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have the below skills and experience:
3 years’ experience in project coordination and/or project estimation
The ability to interpret technical drawings
Solid computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
Highly developed planning and organisation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Though not required, the below skills and attributes would be preferable:
Construction induction white card
Experience with SimPRO
Knowledge of air conditioning or ventilation systems would be highly regarded
