The Opportunity
We’re looking for an estimator to join our friendly, close-knit sales team as a Joinery Consultant. The position is full-time, with remuneration commensurate with experience. Some experience working with timber doors and windows, whether as an estimator or on the tools, is preferred. We’ll otherwise provide you with full in-house training of our systems and processes.

We have about 30 people in our business, working on our premises here in the leafy suburb of Chermside on Brisbane’s northside. Our joinery factory and team of talented, experienced joiners and wood machinists are also all here, on-site.
We’ve been making timber joinery here, in this same location, since 1970. We’re immensely proud of our long heritage as a Queensland-based business with a tradition spanning over more than 50 years. We believe in supporting the future of our industry through apprenticeships and continually up-skilling our valued staff. Some of our key team members have been with us for over 25 years. We believe this is a testimony to the strength and skill level within our business and it’s something we’re really proud about.
About You
We’re looking for the right person to join our team. To be a good fit, you'll need to be motivated, excited by a high-volume role that requires focus and excellent communication skills, and a team player.

In the role, you’ll:
- Provide a high level of customer service to our clients
- Deliver on-time quotations, using our estimating software (training provided)
- Ensure all quotes are accurate and complete
- Manage open quotes using our CRM (training provided)
- Liaise with our Business Development Manager in following up quotations
- Meet and beat targeted sales budgets
- Price job variations
- Understand relevant building codes and regulations (training provided)
- Keep up to date with client acumen, industry trends and key supplier products
