We are looking for an experienced Estimator in Water & Utilities Infrastructureto join our team. Based out of our Caloundra office on the Sunshine Coast, you will be responsible for delivering and assisting with the preparation of accurate estimates and TOC / RAMP Submissions for water and sewer infrastructure projects on Sunshine Coast

Responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare timely and accurate cost estimates, quantities, prices and costing
- Attend site inspections and identify site specific conditions and their impact on project costs and program
- Program and sequence works in a practical and efficient manner and identify production rates and program in consultation with our delivery team
- Interpret specification and standards and assess their impact on project costs
- Develop accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costs
- Generating a TOC / RAMP estimate
- Review client's designs for opportunities and omissions
- Prepare request for quotation for subcontractor and/or suppliers
- Demonstrate accurate analysis and assessment of subcontractor/ supplier quotes
- Partake in construction methodology reviews to arrive at most cost effective construction solution
- Detailed tender handover and support into pre-contracts and delivery for successful bids

Skills & Experience
The minimum requirements for the role are as follows:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, tendering or project delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and pipeline construction projects
- Experience with Expert Estimator Software is a must
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite and Outlook
- Experience in Developing TOCS / RAMP Estimates
- Proficient in the use of MS Project/Primavera
- Must be able to manage to timeframes with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
- Srong financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to liaise positively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a variety of projects ranging from low to high value tenders
- Current Driver’s License
