AddressDoorcraft are one of the leading manufacturers of doors and joinery in Western Australia and require an Estimator/Project Support to become a member of the team.
Ideally the successful applicant will have experience within the building industry, an understanding of passive fire/fire door regulations, and a trade background in carpentry/joinery or other building trade would be highly regarded.

Purpose of the position;
The role covers the full range of operations from take off’s, tendering, client solutions and project/production support. The purpose of the role is to provide estimating integration between our client base, the production team, management and key stake holders. The role will require elements of awareness, attention to detail, interpretation of client requests, sales and the capability to assist the team as required.
Direct position requirements;
-Intermediate MS Office skills
-Excellent written and oral communication
-Experience with take-off from architectural plans and associated documents
-Experience in the passive fire industry with exposure to fire doors
-Ability to show initiative and to take responsibility
-Good mathematical knowledge and application
-Accuracy and attention to detail
-Excellent telephone manner
-Punctual with can-do attitude and a good work ethic
-An ability to prioritize workload and multi task on a daily basis
-An ability to work in a proactive manner
-Dynamic toward progress and technology
-Minimum 2 year general office and construction industry experience
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to;
-General assistance to the team leader
-Tender reviews and take offs
-Tender quoting and submission
-Supporting projects and associated tasking
-Maintaining tender CRM platforms and schedules where necessary
-Company production/tender software support & operation.
-Fire doors administration, tasking and compliance.
-General assist BM, MD and supervisors
-General systems support & development
-Promotion of the company's policies

-A good understanding of carpentry and joinery principles would be beneficial
-Experience with door hardware and framing systems advantageous
-Basic to Intermediate CAD drawing ability
