Our clients are renowned construction companies that specialize in transformative fit-out and Refurbishment projects. Renowned for delivering excellence, our clients have established a strong reputation for exceeding client expectations. As they expand their operations, we are actively seeking a seasoned Estimator to join their accomplished team.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of a Senior Estimator specializing in fit-out and Refurbishment, you will be a pivotal player in ensuring precise project cost estimation. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the financial viability and competitiveness of our client's projects.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly analyse project specifications and blueprints to comprehend project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather essential information for accurate estimates.
- Produce comprehensive cost estimates, encompassing materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Conduct meticulous research to obtain current pricing for materials and subcontractor services.
- Leverage industry knowledge to identify potential cost-saving measures while upholding quality standards.
- Effectively present and articulate estimates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Actively participate in bid reviews and engage in negotiations with clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in fit-out and Refurbishment construction.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
Educational Background:
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
