ESTIMATORS within Fit-Out and Refurb + Commercial Newbuild

- Salary $140,000 - $170,000 + Super + Benefits

Our clients are renowned construction companies that specialize in transformative fit-out and Refurbishment projects. Renowned for delivering excellence, our clients have established a strong reputation for exceeding client expectations. As they expand their operations, we are actively seeking a seasoned Estimator to join their accomplished team.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of a Senior Estimator specializing in fit-out and Refurbishment, you will be a pivotal player in ensuring precise project cost estimation. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the financial viability and competitiveness of our client's projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly analyse project specifications and blueprints to comprehend project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather essential information for accurate estimates.
  • Produce comprehensive cost estimates, encompassing materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Conduct meticulous research to obtain current pricing for materials and subcontractor services.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify potential cost-saving measures while upholding quality standards.
  • Effectively present and articulate estimates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in bid reviews and engage in negotiations with clients.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in fit-out and Refurbishment construction.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.

Educational Background:
  • Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
