About the RoleThe Evaluation and Research Assistant will be situated within Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH). VTMH builds the capacity of the public mental health and wellbeing sector to deliver services that engage with and are responsive to the needs of diverse communities, ensuring that all Victorians can have access to a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive mental health care system. Undertake evaluation studies of specific projects within VTMHCollect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions about the effectiveness and impact of these projects
Provide recommendations for VTMH on the basis of the evaluation findings
Develop reports and presentation for each evaluation project
The classification for this position will be YC90 ($79,003 per annum pro rata)Your Contribution Post-graduate degree in Health-related ScienceAn understanding of the importance cultural diversity in the delivery of mental health services
Ability to communicate with the range of stakeholders providing mental health related services
Advanced computer skills and data analysis skills
Prior experience in designing and implementing projects aim at enhancing cultural responsiveness within the mental health and wellbeing sector is desirable
