The Leadership Institute is seeking an experienced, focused, and driven Event & Conference Organiser to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for creating impactful events and understands the nuances of addressing seniority, such as CEOs of ASX-listed companies. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering projects on time and to an exceptional standard, ensuring all elements are ready for seamless execution.
In your role, you will:
· Organise and coordinate services for conferences, events, functions, and seminars.
· Promote conferences, summits, and professional development courses to potential customers.
· Respond to inquiries concerning services provided, including costs for room and equipment hire, catering, and related services.
· Meet with clients to discuss their needs and outline package options.
· Arrange and coordinate services such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport, and social events.
· Organise participant registration and oversee work by contractors, ensuring services are provided within budget.
· Overlooking marketing initiatives concerning upcoming events.
Requirements:
· 2 Years of experience in a similar role
· University Degree, preferably in Event Management, Business, or Communications
· Superior written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to negotiate and influence senior decision-makers.
· Excellent organisational, time management, and project management skills.
· Creativity, resourcefulness, and strong business acumen.
· Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
