With 509 guest rooms including 28 luxury suites, an award-winning and world class Club InterContinental lounge and vibrant dining venues, a complete five-star experience awaits.Due to the continued success and growth of our hotel we have the opportunity to join our Sales & planning team in a newly created role of Sales & Events Executive - Restaurant & Bars.Your role will focus on securing both private and group events for our food & beverage venues across the hotel including our award winning rooftop bar Aster, Treasury Lobby Lounge & Bar, Conservatory, Rotunda Private dining room and our newly opened ala carte dining, Pont Dining Room.Securing venue sales, upselling and delivering on our Luxury service promise, you will ensure your client meetings & Events held within the Hotel F&B venues run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless Sales & event planning experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees.Find out more about our five amazing and diverse Luxury venues here:https://www.sydney.intercontinental.com/diningAbout You

  • 1 + years’ in securing and coordinating private events within the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work across multiple diversified business units or multiple projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales principles and selling techniques alongside working with luxury clientele
  • Strong organisational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise workload & manage projects
