ABOUT THE ROLE
The Event Operations Facilitator role is a role that provides oversight and support to the Property Office and other school personnel by effectively managing a busy schedule and performing a wide variety of complex tasks.
The Events Operations Facilitator is the first point of call for afterhours setups and pack downs of events. Duties performed often require immediate response and professionalism. The role requires a high degree of independence, initiative and ability to be proactive and anticipate the needs of the Event Organisers and Facilities Manager.
The Event Operations Facilitator supports the effective day to day operations of events across the School campuses, demonstrating quality leadership and role modelling desired behaviours, standards and outcomes. The Event Operations Facilitator is required to coordinate the set up and pack down of venues and train, oversee and support the casual staff.
The Event Operations Facilitator role is required to work at least 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. The role may require flexibility in work hours when workload demands, including after hours and weekend work for events.
You will need to have a level of proficiency in either:-
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in Event Operations Facilitator
- Physically able to undertake normal work requirements of position
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work easily and effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to work in a very busy, ever-changing environment, prioritise and manage multiple projects and responsibilities, meeting all deadlines
- Ability to be flexible, exercise sound judgement, discretion, and adaptability
- Possess time management and organisational skills
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- A current Class C Driver’s License
