The Event Planner is responsible for the planning and packaging of maintenance requirements for company and client aircraft to ensure optimum utilisation of staff, logistics and facilities whilst ensuring aircraft compliance. As part of the Integrated Planning model the Event Planning team plays an integral role in the planning of aircraft maintenance requirements within the Line and or Base environment for company and client aircraft.
The successful candidate will:
Be accountable for the asset management of specific aircraft within a pre-defined maintenance window.
Plan, package and evenly schedule maintenance activities within port capabilities, MOU and operational constraints to minimize aircraft downtime.
Forecast and schedule routine and non-routine maintenance for aircraft.
Coordinate with aircraft allocations to ensure maintenance aircraft are routed for scheduled workload to required maintenance locations.
Assist the MOC to coordinate routing for MEL’s, CDL’s, passenger inconvenience tasks, short term watch items and borrowed aircraft parts.
Ensure maintenance overruns are minimised and managed to acceptable standards
Maintain maintenance compliance across planned activities, with no acceptable breaches of mandatory maintenance without an accepted deviation process being implemented
Additionally, this role will be required to train and develop staff as the departmental need arises.
