The Venue Collection City Venues (Watersedge at Campbell Store’s at the Rocks & The Woodlands located at Harrongton Grove). We are looking to fill multiple roles for our Corporate Events/Wedding events team. We are passionate about our clients and the events they deliver, and we anticipate that you would share this attitude.
The Rocks
Sales Executive with over 5 years experience in larger production events
Event Planner with over 3 years experience in larger production events
The Woodlands
Event Planner with over 3 years experience
Responsibilities Include:
- Selling and / or Coordinating all events including liaising with the client, conducting site visits, preparing events sheets and floor plans and working with the onsite kitchen and operations teams
- Invoicing and payment reconciliation
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- Follow up with prospective clients with sending proposals and ensure client satisfaction to secure their booking.
- Work closely with the events and operations team, as well as suppliers to ensure the event run smoothly and seamlessly to meet or exceed client expectations.
About You:
- Mature minded, has a positive attitude with a strong work ethic,
- Able to work successfully within a close team environment,
- Attention to detail and ability to build rapport with internal and external clients
- Time management and administration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner, a high standard of personal presentation
Skills & Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the Event Sales
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in event co-ordination
- Professional communication skills experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Priava Events Software a bonus!
- Proven success coordinating detailed events
- Strong sales experience and capability to on sell and up sell the venue
- Strong client, customer liaison and relationship building skills
- Love of events and hospitality!
