Event Project Coordinator (NSW)

Our client is an event management company specialising in end-to-end event management, production, and creative services.  They live and breathe events and aim to wow their corporate clients with creative event strategies that align with their brand message. They are looking for a Project Coordinator join their Event Services team based in Sydney, assisting in the management of events from end to end. 

The Role:

• Support Project Lead with project documents including but not limited to onsite agendas, critical path, contact lists, travel documents and production schedules over multiple projects
• Assist with logistics of multiple live events- including delegate registration and group travel
• Assist with set up and management of event technology and systems
• Regular client interaction and client relationship management
• Maintain and develop strong supplier relationships, negotiating best rates and staying within budget
• Sourcing venues, entertainment, speakers, attendee gift ideas, and other suppliers as required
• Invoice and PO tracking and management
• Support Project Lead with managing and tracking project budgets 
• Assist with on-site event and crew management

Candidate Profile:

• Ideally 2 year's event experience, preferably from an event agency or in-house corporate role 
• Event Management diploma/degree highly regarded
• You will possess the ability to drive projects along with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and high standards of personal presentation
• Clear, active communicator with a positive attitude 
• You will have the confidence and resilience required to handle a fast-paced working environment, as well as being self-motivated, with a passion for excellence
• Strong and adaptable problem-solving skills
• You will also be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, be highly organised and possess careful attention to detail.
