An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Event Specialist to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this role will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing a variety of innovative events that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience. From new season launches, to store activations, and influencer events, the Event Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility, fostering customer engagement, and driving sales growth.
THE ROLE:
- Manage annual events and activation calendar including new season launches, store openings, styling masterclasses.
- Develop innovative and on-brand event concepts and present proposals to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all stakeholders are involved, where appropriate, to optimise the success of events
- Brief design and marketing teams on event creative deliverables.
- Brief and work with Event Producer or directly with venues and vendors during pre-production and onsite, including audio visual, creative, styling, catering, and entertainment.
- Act as a brand ambassador at Events, embodying the brand’s values and ethos.
- Manage event budgets and reconcile all expenses in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop event documentation including project timelines, run sheets, event production schedules and vendor briefs.
- Provide post-event analysis and host debrief sessions to review learnings and ROI.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
- Proven experience in event planning and management, on agency, or client side.
- Retail / fashion experience highly regarded.
- Experience in conceptualising, planning, and executing high-quality events.
- Bacheloru0027s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Ability to source, review and manage third-party vendors and partners.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Process driven, with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment, stay calm under pressure, and problem-solve with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently in a proactive and efficient way.
