ABOUT THE ROLE
Within the Event Department, this role will be integral in the delivery of MBA’s Events and Awards calendar, providing administrative support and assists in the successful delivery of high quality events, activities and awards to achieve targets and meet the needs of members and partners.
This position is based in our West Perth office.
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
You will have:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration role (Exposure to the building and construction industry desirable but not essential)
- Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Well-developed skills and experience with software/programs such as Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Power Point, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, CRM, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor, Hootsuite and AwardsForce.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, word processing and experience using an electronic records management system or customer record database.
- Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to use initiative and work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical capacity to assist with bump in / bump out of events
