Events Labourer / Ride Attendant

Ever wanted to run away with the circus but couldn’t quite commit? Do you get told a lot that you’re just a big kid? Interested in working events and love the idea of getting to test out giant inflatable games and rides? Do we have a position for you!

We are coming into the busy season and Barrier Reef Jumping Castles Cairns is on the hunt for some fun and fit people to join our crew!

We offer a range of inflatables, amusements, snack machines and Mechanical Bull for hire in the Far North Queensland region. Based in Cairns, but we travel to various parts of the surrounding areas bringing smiles and fun all the way up to the Cape!

Our events are held mostly on weekends, and school holidays with the occasional mid-week job outside of these times. We cater for private backyard parties, corporate events, Sporting Clubs, School fetes, Community events and more.

In this casual position, your duties will include but not limited to, driving vehicles to site, the set up and pack down of equipment and occasionally supervising and providing the kids with a fun and safe environment to play.

Experience is not necessary as training will be provided. All you need to bring is a positive and fun attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Player Stats: (what you need)

·        A reliable mode of transport to get to and from work as shift times can vary

·        A manual drivers licence

·        A working and reliable mobile phone

·        Ability to obtain a working with children Blue Card

·        Fit and strong as our equipment can be quite heavy

·        A fun and positive attitude

·        Be 18 or older

Bonus Points:

·        Ability to drive and reverse with a trailer

·        First Aid Certificate
