We have an exciting opportunity to join the Events Manager for a full-time fixed term contract for 6 months. This is a flexible role based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About the Role
The Event Manager works closely with all areas of the business to plan,
produce and implements Paralympics Australia large and wide-ranging program of events. This includes the effective planning, production, delivery and execution of PA’s portfolio of events delivering end to end event management services from
design and concept to post event evaluation.
The role will be required to implement an events program during our peak Games
year.
About the candidate
We are seeking an individual who possesses exceptional organisational skills and self-motivation. With a keen attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and a fervent enthusiasm for event management, you will thrive in this role. Ideally, you are both innovative and adaptable, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders. Your high energy level is balanced by a calm demeanour, allowing you to maintain control in intense situations.
You excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously, actively addressing challenges with a positive outlook. Your hands-on approach is complemented by a knack for problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
To qualify, you should have previous experience in a similar capacity, coupled with qualification in events management, or a related field.
