ABOUT THE ROLE
A rare opportunity for an Events & Marketing gun to join an award-winning Financial Services/Fintech team in a newly created role. Elevate client engagement and create unforgettable experiences.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, a diverse role in a small, collaborative, and supportive team. You will be given the autonomy and support to manage your own projects and initiatives including planning and managing events nationally etc.
Ideally, you will have financial services experience, however this is not a prerequisite. You may be seeking to take the next step in your Marketing career or dip your toes back in the world of events and marketing.
Define and manage an annual calendar of exceptional internal and external events nationally, spearhead strategic execution, elevate client engagement, and create unforgettable experiences.
- Work closely with Marketing and Distribution/Sales to identify topics/concepts and develop the annual events calendar.
- Work closely with Marketing and Distribution/Sales to activate third party events and sponsorships e.g. PD Days.
- Provide day to day event support to ORDE’s Distribution Teams.
- Manage events end to end event from objectives, concept, and budgeting, through to delivery and post implementation review.
- Assist with the creation, production, and delivery of a diverse range of customer communications.
- Monitor and report relevant customer, market, and competitor insights.
- Assist with Marketing administration and compliance, including invoice management, budget tracking, procedure updates and audit requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification (ideally).
- 3+ years’ experience in an events/marketing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and as a self-starter.
- Positive "can-do" energy.
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written), teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning and time management, with the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Supplier and Procurement Management experience e.g. venues, merchandise etc.
- Financial services, mortgage broker or home loan events/marketing experience (beneficial).
- Salesforce experience (beneficial).
