THE VENUES
Sydney’s iconic Pumphouse is inspired by the venue’s rich industrial history. The design and concept of the venue is influenced by signature heritage traits of the building once supplying power to a booming city in the late 1800’s, to a microbrewery, and now to Sydney’s funkiest Bar and Restaurant. With an elevated offering serving local produce which incorporates native ingredients in both our food and beverage menus as well as continued focus on craft beer and our very own brew Thunderbolt Strong Ale. Pumphouse is located in one of Sydney’s most diverse urban neighbourhoods and caters to not only our local community but offers opportunity for private events for various clients.

Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for managing and securing private event bookings for all venues. You will be empowered to determine clients’ event needs, responding to client enquiries, and providing quotes for event proposals covering venue, function, menu and beverage costs ensuring revenue is maximized. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Team you will have a focus on driving and converting business to ensure targets are met. You will continually liaise with the operations team to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask. You will ideally have knowledge of Delphi, Res Diary (not essential). You will pride yourself on your excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner, a high standard of personal presentation, and above all else, your ability to produce an exemplary and consistent service to your clients. Your hunger to be successful will be one of your key attributes.
