With extraordinary opportunities ahead, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events & Strategic Partnership Manager to lead their events program and champion the interests of the state's business community.Key Responsibilities:Events Management: Contribute to the development and execution of an innovative events strategy to distinguish Business Chamber Queensland in a competitive landscape. Coordinate a diverse range of events, including flagship initiatives like Business Connect, Business Matters, and special events throughout the year across Queensland. Work with the broader External Affairs team to manage event logistics from venue booking to catering, ensuring seamless execution. Implement targeted marketing campaigns to drive attendance and maximize revenue.Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate partners and sponsors to drive mutual value. Provide day-to-day account management for strategic partners, supporting them in leveraging partnership benefits. Contribute to sales and revenue targets through effective partner engagement and support.Regional Engagement: Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and implement a regional engagement strategy. Organise regional events to expand our reach and deepen connections in regional Queensland communities.About you;
You will have a passion for events and stakeholder management. You’ll have tertiary qualifications in events, marketing, PR or related field alongside a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Your deep understanding of the Queensland business landscape will be evident, showcasing your ability to forge robust B2B partnerships. With exceptional project management skills, you thrive in high-pressure environments, maintaining a keen eye for detail while meeting deadlines. Your communication prowess, both written and verbal, will be exemplary, reflecting your collaborative nature as a team player. Additionally, your strong problem-solving abilities equip you to handle multiple tasks effectively, making you an invaluable asset to our team.What's in it for You:
