Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Operator to join our team at Hunter Valley. The successful candidate will primarily operate excavators and Skid/Steer equipment, playing a vital role in our mining operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the mining industry and possess a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and Skid/Steer equipment efficiently and safely in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and operational objectives.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, incidents, or hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and production activities as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating excavators and Skid/Steer equipment in a mining or similar heavy industry environment.
• Valid driver's license and relevant certifications for operating heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to mining operations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends if required.
• Commitment to upholding company values and contributing to a positive work culture.
